Default Fork seal help on 05 600rr

Hey everyone I'm kind of a newb to forums so long story short I've been trying to look up a D.I.Y. on fork seal replacement for 05 6rr & can't seen to find anything. I was just wondering if anyone has any advice or a link to any threads/videos for this particular model/year. I have the repair manual so I know how to take them out but I am kind of more concerned on the dissasembly/cleaning of the forks.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks Vic.

The parts that you DIY are all fairly generic. With the repair manual and any of the pictorial how-to's, you should be good.

If you take a piece of pvc pipe that will slip over the forks, split the end about 8-way. You can tighten a hose-clamp over the end
to fit the fork-tube exactly. That will let you drive the seals home, squarely.
Or you can buy the $50, 2-piece seal-hammer. They look like this...

Motion Pro - Fork Seal Driver 43mm

Just be sure to get the correct size for your diameter forks.

It is critical that the seals are seated clean, square and evenly.
if you bind them up as you seat them, they will leak.

Good luck, Ern
