Default dirty oil, even after change?

i picked up an 03 600rr with my friend. the guy who sold it bought it to resell it i think. he said he bought another dirt bike and had to get rid of it, whatever.

i changed the oil AND filter last night. i used 10w40semi-synth castrol. the oil was clean lookin in the window before i started the bike. then i started it and warmed it up and checked again. now the oil is all dirty lookin!

could it be a possibility that there was so much crap left from the old oil that it dirtied up this oil?

when i changed the oil on my previous bikes it would stay nice and clean looking for a while (i put a k&n filter on which has really good filtering i hear), if this is the case should i change the oil again say in 2 weeks?. yep i warmed up the bike prior to the oil change as well.

thanks fella'z

also the bike runs solid, revs freely, pulls hard and shifts perfect.

just because the oil LOOKS dirty, doesn't mean it's bad. don't worry about it. there is about a 1/2 qt of oil still in the bike when you drain it. it'll mix.
