CW FE kit is a semi PITA
Finally got my Competition werkes Fender Eliminator, and it is kind of a pain in the *** for such a straight forward installation. Only 2 holes for the bracket, but they tell you to cut a rib on the bottom, and drill all these other holes, and you really dont need to drill any of them. such a waste of extra effort.
Anyway, any of you have pictures of where you ran your wires? I just quit because after working for 30 mins, figured I didnt have my drill bits, went to the store, came back, installed everything, just didn't wire it. Also, there are no signals for polarity. can I reverse polarity on these blinkers without **** happening to it. The fit and finish is nice on everything, just need to rip apart the OEM fender for the leads, and crimp em on. The thing requires like tiny fingers to reach in tight spots too.
One other thing i noticed, for the blinkers to have a proper seal, it almost touches the heat shield. Am I gonna melt these blinkers?
