So i was riding home last night right around nightfall and about 2 miles from home i notice that like everyother car is flashing their lights at me....I couldnt figure out what the hell they were freaking out about, i thought my brights might have been on so i hit the switch. they were on but the freakin bulb had burned out. Fun stuff! glad i was on my way and near home when it happend, today i pulled the bulb out after reading some advice on here. it came out easy, i was blind to what i was doing but it was easy enough. Gettin that damn thing back in there was hell i took the retaining wire out without thinkin any thing about it and was trying to put back in backwards...ended up with a naked bike to figure out where i went wrong. thank god for 1$ allen key's from wally world my tools are at work. Anybody use the silverstar headlight?

 

I've got silverstars in my girlfriends... HID's in my 929

Yeah the headlight assembly can be a PITA, it's worse when you try to break down that 3 piece front-end to paint it.

Did you touch the bulb before putting it in???
