i've never done an oil change on my honda, but i'v done it for my old old ninja. it was a pain in the ***, hard to get to the oil filter, but i'm def going to start on my honda. i've paid the $120 before and its painful. def not worth it, better to buy a stand and do it yourself.

 

Yeah true huh? what oil do you use man? I went to Pep boys and saw like some Castrol Power RS for 10 bucks. IDK but it seems really good! I am just worried about changine the oil filter man! seems pretty hard to take off also!

 

that last time i changed the oil was 10 years ago, don't remember which i used. looking at the service manual looks like Pro Honda GN4 is recommended, dunno if its much more expensive.

looking at this manual again it doesn't look like too much work. just need to remove the lower fairings. i remember i had some trouble long time ago on the ninja, maybe cause it was my first time....
