Well that is a start, thanks dude .

I just bought my 05 cbr 600rr and I have ridden it twice, and love it. I am kinda concerned about how fast it goes and it being used. Since I was not the original owner and have not preformed the usual maintenance, I am worried that something may fail me when I am riding. I notcied that the tires were under inflated and that the chain was too lose, what other things should I check before really starting to ride this thing?

It is indeed 83 ft lbs

My torque wrench must be busted or something, because I tighten the thing so much I am standing on the wrench and it won't tighten anymore even with me jumping on it, and the thing still won't click. So I just tighten it until standing on it and jumping on it has no effect.

Standing on your torque wrench to tighten a nut?

This has to be a joke, that would be on the top 10 list of things not to do! My recommendation is to throw all of your tools away including the allen wrench that came with the bike and immediately take the bike to the nearest service center and have the bike completely inspected.

u should make sure the forks arent leaking, and the brake pads have plenty of meat on them. how does the coolant look, the oil, how many miles? may be time for new plugs.

I checked the fork seals, they looked good. I need to check the brakes (I will do that tonight, as well as adjust the chain). I will check the fluid levels when I get home too.

The bike has 4,600 miles on it and 220 hrs . I do not know when the last oil change was, so I might just go ahead and do onetonight alsoand start fresh? Anything else guys?
