Back Brake Ajustment??

Back Brake Ajustment??
I have a 06 CBR1000RR and since the day I bought it the back brakes seem really weak. I could put everything I had on the brake lever and bend the thing right off the bike and it would never lock up. lolIs there a way to adjust them at all? I could take it back and complain but time out of work sucks. Plus every time I go to the place I bought my bike from there is always some mechanic giving someone’s poor bike a goodbeating in the parking lot or red lining them in the back room. Im to scared for my bike to bring it back there. I would rather do it my self or just live with it. Can anyone help me out?

RE: Back Brake Ajustment??
sounds like you have air in the system. start by bleeding the brake with fresh DOT4.
there are plently of write ups on how to do it but basically, put some clear tube on the nipple, open the resevoir cap, press the pedal, open the nipple, watch the fluid come out. close the nipple, let off the pedal
pour more fluid in the res. repeat as necessary to make the pedal tight.
if there is any brake pad left at all this will do the trick
