Default cbr 600rr 04 wont start first time

Can anyone suggest a reason it wont start first time

...

my mechanic changed the spark plugs...

it still wont start first time...

hes saying its to do with the
immobiliser being so old...but i dont buy that.

Anyone know what reason could be...

ill turn it off and on again a couple of times and itll start

once its warmed up it tends to be better...

could it be that where the sparks fit just needs a clean?

If you're talking about the bar lock (immobilizer), then I highly doubt that's causing you your problems. I would pull the plugs to see if they're fouled. While you have the plugs out, I would do a compression test. If you have a cylinder or more with low compression, I would do a leak down test to see where the low compression is coming from. If you hear hissing from exhaust or intake, it's the valves. If you hear it coming from the case, it's the rings. If all that checks, check the starter valve synchronization. It's like a carb sync... just for the FI.
