Default buying 03cbr on sat

Hey i'm new to this forum, but have been into bikes for some time. Anyway i'm purchasing my first 600 on saturday and it is an 03 cbr600rr. The guy is asking 3,700 for it and it has 33k miles on it. Also he has dropped it once and replaced the fairings. But i was just wondering if that price sounds correct for the year and amount of miles it has.

Thanks,
Tyler

I can't tell you if that is a good price in the US, since I am from Canada. I just got a 03 600RR a week ago with 12000km's for 6800cdn. The bike is just awesome. I have done the all the mods I can to the tail end and will be slowly working my way to the front. Best of luck.

That's not a bad deal I don't think. That's a lot of miles though so make sure regular maintenance was done on the bike so you don't have to deal with any problems down the road. I will tell you that in the Chicago area, similar bikes are going for around $5000, but they have quite a few less miles on them.

Sounds like a good deal to me if the bike is mechanically sound.

I would try to talk him down on the price. I bought my 04 with 5,000 miles on it for $5,000 US dollars. never laid down or wrecked.

ok thanks for the help. now he isn't emailing me back or anything. when he was emailing me it didnt seem like a scam but he was planning on me being there tomorrow morning. who knows, maybe he was to busy to check his email or something. I hope it isn't a scam or anyone else has bought it.
