The bike needs three thing to run fuel, air, and spark. Heat cycles dictate operation. Bike is cold and runs, gets to norm op temp and shuts off. Maybe the coils, Throttle positioning sensor, fuel pump, or coolant temp sensor. Temp sensor malfunction usaully cause poor running not complete failure. TPS, fuel pump, or the coils could get hot and short out. Need more details!!!!

what extra details would you need? the bike dosn't shut off as soon as it gets hot. then twice that it has shut off the temp has only been 180-190. i've ridden the bike for about 150 miles and the temp has climbed above 220 several times and the bike dosn't shutter or run funny at all. And as i've said its not a gradual shut off, no warning or running strange, just cuts off. Also the F.I. light has came on when rideing the bike but it wouldn't cut off or run funny

I asked my boy that still works on bikes and intermitten problems like this that cause the FI light to come on maybe the tip switch, TPS or the map sensor. Are you low on gas when it happens?
