I have a 03 600rr, Any advise on a type of air filter to get. Looking to get the most hp, Thanks.

BMC or K&N filters!!!
And they dont make a big difeerence...it doesnt matter wht kinda filter u have!!!

If it's not much of a difference ill go with the k&n they look to be 20-30 bucks cheaper......and I love to sve a few! Thanks bro.

I was told the stock air filter is just as good as the two named above however the k&n will last you forever since you can clean and resuse it

Stock. I see no need to blow $ on the filters, stock is working just fine.

I agree martin, but some other bikes not RRs stock filters and not the same and an aftermarket filter would him a little.

Oil gaze type like K&N do flow more air than a paper element type like what you stock. But the problem and good thing about K&N's are they you are able to reuse it and just clean and oil it. But they do get dry and their filtration gets worse. While a paper element remains the same, just flows less when it gets clogged by getting dirty. So if you are willing to maintenance your filter more often than a stock one, i would go with the K&N since you will pay more at first but don't need to spend anymore afterwards expect for a recharge kit.
