Here are pictures of the left and right side of my 2006 600rr The next post will be of my 04 F4i again left and right. you can clearly see they are not even close to being the same engine. The tranny in the 600rr is higher up in the case. I called a friend of mine that works for Honda and I quote him directly, "The F4i and the 600rr have never had the same engines. They are not even close to being the same engines."

My weiner is bigger than yours. That's what this whole thread reminds me of.
With that said, they don't use the same engines. The bore and stoke are the same, probably use the same crank, pistons and other internals too. The heads are the big difference, that's where increase or decrease in power comes from. Valve size, lift, duration, throttle body, injectors, fuel pump and all that jazz. Also, the two motors are of different castings.
Lastly, who really cares about which one is faster. If you're buying a specific bike because 'it's the fastest one' then you're riding for all the wrong reasons in the first place.

welli guess we should just refer to cycle worlds specs even though u asked to not refer to specs. cycle world states that the f4i is actually faster running the 1/4 mile off the start and off ofa 20 mile n hour roll. take it for what its worth but the argument in this forum will last forever...
