Default Air filter

Ok i need your guys opinion on what kind of air filter to get. K@N , honda, ect.... im running a hotbodies moto style muffler now with a mid pipe. im also goin to be doing the power commander with in the next two weeks. girlfriend just got a job so i got some extra money i dont have to spend on bills!!!! hell yeah!lol anyway get back at me guys. thanks

i use k&N on everything..

K&N isn't that much better than stock. I don't think it's worth the price and any racing filter is too thin for the street. I would just run the stock Honda filter minus the fire screen.

whats the fire screen? i tried to get to my air filter one day but it was a huge hassle.

The fire screen is a metal screen that is on your air filter. The metal screen is highly restrictive. You can easily remove it by prying off the little plastic tabs that hold it onto the filter. It's pretty easily done if you take off the tank cover and remove all of the upper airbox screws, and unplug the ecu.

If you want to step up from stock I would go BMC (street) or pipercross filters. Like tenjio said dont get a race filter for the street.
