Default 2009 600 purchase

I'm looking to buy a 2009 CBR600RR. The dealer had an 08 CBR1000 for $7000. Was thinking about getting that until I read some issues on oil burning and shifting problems on the 1000's. Are there any common issues with the 600's that you can tell me about? (Shifting, Oil burning, stator, electrical, etc.)
Thanks

my 08 1000rr has been great. It used a little oil in the first 600 miles but it's been great since. no problem with shifting. And the power is great.

the 07 600rr set the bar for all 600's hands down dude, you'll be more than happy with it, 07,08,09 any of em. go to your local grocery store and pick up a mag and read up on it.

All CBRs do this. Honda puts a universal lube in for brakes AND oil at the factory, and it burns off quick. They reccomend you change it after 100 miles.

07 and 08 are identical in every aspect other than colors, 09 offers abs and the mid fairings are a lil different but thats about it.
