2003 won't start
Hi again!
My bike won't start, my guess is that its either the fuel pump or spark plugs because it cranks strong but the engine won't start.... I have no plans on messing with the fuel pump so I want to go for plugs right now.. So I popped the gas tank cover and opened the air box, it has strong smell of gas (Did I drown the engine??).. Anyway, I opened the airbox, but not sure how to remove it to get to the plugs.. Any advise / instructions??
BTW - The bike was fine two nights before, I revved the engine and killed the switch immediately before the RPM goes down.. Does it cause anything?
...Yes I already did a search..

When you turn your key on, with the killswitch on, does the fuel pump prime? That's the little whining noise that you hear each time you turn on your battery. If not, you can rule out sparkplugs and concentrate on the pump.
Now that i think about it, i've got over 6,000 mile on my 07 and havent used the killswitch one time lol....

check you battery. I had this same problem. Everything came on with the key in the "on" position...Fuel pump etc etc and it would just crank til the battery died. I even changed the spark plugs!!! That set me back like 50$-60$ Turns out the battery couldn't hold charge and I replaced it. Starts everytime now.
Good luck
