Default 08 cbr 600 rr

Good mornings to you all i m John and i am new here.

Hope sum one can help me. I bought an accident damage 08 CBR 600. The bike where standing at an tow truck facility and some idiot stole the clocks and the front light.
i was hoping any body can tell me if bike will start without the clocks on. reason why i asking is did check bank sensor and bridge it out plugged in and unplugged , did bridge clutch and side-stand switch out and still no luck on fuel pump priming.

So my guess is either the clocks or the CDI has gone.
And i just wanna start the motor up so that i can know if motor is good or not before i spend to much on it.
Cause don`t wanna buy clocks now and then its CDI and also don`t wanna buy CDI and then its clocks if you guys know what i meant.

Any help will greatly be appriciated
Thanks
John

I had a similar issue with buying a crashed bike, where I thought the gauge cluster had to be plugged in, but it does not have to be plugged in.

Assuming that your fuel pump is priming, check your headlight fuse. Yes, HEADLIGHT FUSE.

I had removed mine (since it's going to be a track bike) and tried starting the bike. Fuel would prime, but start button would not even click. I had removed/unplugged A LOT of things, so I back tracked what I had unplugged, and it turned out that the headlight fuse has to be on for the start button to work.

If that doesn't work, let me/us know what works and doesn't work on the bike so we can figure it out.
