Today when i pulled up to the pump and tried to pop it in neutral, the neutral light doesn't come on, so i give up and just shut the bike off while in gear. When i start the bike back up, there are no electrics at all, no headlight, tach, blinkers, nada! But the bike will start right up and runs like a champ, just no indicators or headlight/taillight. Any ideas?

 

I'd start by checking the fuses.

 

And double checking that all your connections are clean and secure.

 

Fixed! Blown 10amp fuse and i found one of my relays under the rear tail cowl had come off the bracket. Hmm, maybe that caused the blown fuse. Now to replace the leaking fuel pump.

 

I do the same thing sometimes it's a bitch to get this bike into neutral. But soon as it is off its a piece of cake.
