My friends 07 RR was recently dropped. the frame is still straight and the engine suffers no visible damage. it will turn over, but will not catch. I have never worked on a newer bike, so I don't know everything to check for. I looked at all the fuses all fine. no indicator for sidestand. what else should I check? someone have a PDF manual for dl?

also, is there not a dipstick on this bike? I pulled the plug, but there was no stick, just a small hole that might have had one it?

 

First off hows the battery? connections etc, as for the manual you'll find it here http://www.stephygee.com/if not just shoot him an email. Finally Re the dipstick??? if your refering to an oil dipstick? you wont find one, theres a site glass to view for oil level. The "plug" you refered to is for adding the oil etc.

 

batteries fine. it turns over everytime with ease, but never fires up.

I had been referring to an oil dipstick. every bike I've worked on has had one, so when I pulled it, I was a bit confused. thanks for clearing that up.

what else should I check?
