07 coolant reservoir compatibility

I was wondering if the 2007-2012 CBR600RR coolant reservoir tank was compatible with the 05-06 models. They look similair, but I'm not sure. Do the newer model 600RR's use different engines?

The 07+ engines are different than the 05-06 RR's. Not sure if the coolant res. is different but I would imagine they are since the whole bike was redesigned.
