Default Wrists hurt

My wrists hurt after riding my F4. I never had that problem on my Ninja, but then again that was 13 years ago. Anyone else have the same issue, and a solution?

Go to your doctor and get them checked out.. The F4 doesn't have as much of an aggressive seating on it as other sport bikes out there. I have found my left wrist hurting more then my right due to the shifting. I am getting clip ons this week which will lower them. More then likely it will make it worst but will update with what i find!

the F4 has a more agreessive stance than the ninja. You are putting to much pressure on your wrist, use your back.stomach and legs to hold your weight more.

Using clipons that lower the grips wont necessarily solve the problem, may even make it worse. To me the F4/i puts you in a unatural position (not upright or lean forward enough), you have to learn it n adjust to it.

Give it a couple of weeks. The pain will go away. One thing to try is to change the grips to some softer ones that will absorb the vibrations.

I thought about changing grips, and I have tried taking weight off with my back and legs, but then my back gets sore...

gel grips, and you'll get use to it after awhile.

I don't know you from Adam so don't take this the wrong way but if you can hit the gym.

Back and core workouts specifically. There are lot of people on sportbikes who don't enjoy it because they aren't in good enough shape to really support themselves the way a sportbike forces you to.

These things are designed for smaller but decently strong people and the ergo's reflect that.

I've been to the gym off and on over the last couple years. I was 150 when I had the ninja and now I'm up to a bit over 200. Good advice anyway, I haven't been to the gym in a few months probably due to a goofy assed work schedule.

I am 6'4 so I find my f4 at times a bit uncomfy; but I find my wrists get sore if I am not using my legs to hold onto the tank. If my wrists get sore I squeeze the tank a bit with my legs while I ride and it instantly releases pressure off my hands and wrists and they feel better.
