i wanted to drive my f4 back home to western nc, from salt lake, but i would want some storage. anybody had any experience with this? is there some netting i could put over the back seat or something? or bags?

 

you can buy saddle bags for the sides and rear. Personally i like to use a backpack but if you need more space then you can get saddle bags

Don't try using a backpack for long distances. As for storage I have a set of tour master sport saddle bags and matching tail pack. Also have a chase harper expandable tank bag that's great. It really all depends on what you need to carry. Also do have a bungee net I use for various things and leave under my seat....only issue there is no weather protection for your stuff and leaves it in the open for prying eyes at gas stations and such. Anyhow, that what I use and its worked well for me.
