Default ? about oil and storage

well its getting somewhat close to the time where i am not going to ride anymore this year. anyways should i store it with new good brand oil and filter, cheep oil and cheep new filter, old oil and filter.... because it needs to be changed before next season but i dont know if i need to change the oil/filter before and after storage or just keep my old crappy oil/filter on it until its out of storage next season then change it or just put cheep oil and filter on it while it sits then change it with the good stuff when its out or what...im thinking put a cheep filter/ oil in it right before it goes in and then put in/on the good stuff when it comes out

Hmmm... I would think you are correct with "put a cheep filter/ oil in it right before it goes in and then put in/on the good stuff when it comes out".

Anyone else got better idea?

I'd say just leave it as it is when you park it. You'll get no benefit from cheap oil/filter over the winter if you're not riding it. Then change it first thing and use the good stuff when it comes time to ride again. It's just a waste of money in my eyes. Or you could change itand use the goodstuff at the end of ridingseasonand then you're good to go when warmer weather comes. Either way...same outcome.I'd personally choosethe second option because when warm weather hits, I want to get out as soon as possible.
