Hello, I cracked my stator cover a few weeks back while riding. For some reason I also took off the stator. I just got the cover yesterday. I replaced the stator and replaced the cover. Now the engine won't turn. It makes some noise I've never hear, but doesn't even attempt to start. What can be the issue, I'm lost. Need to fix this, it is my only ride.

i had a gsxr before similar problem could be your flywheel not on straight my 2 cents

 

hmm, not sure. well, i have the bolt lined up. what if i installed the stator backwards, would that be it? everything seemed to fit smoothly when i placed it...
