Default Starting trouble

So I decided to day it was nice out and I wanted to start the CBR for a little while. Put the battery in and it wouldn't start. Relay clicks, starter clicks, and turns maybe once very slowly. Took the battery back out to try and charge it somemore and it did the same thing again. Should I be getting a new battery or should I get to the starter? Lights and gauges all light up as well.

Nate

I would be 99% sure that your battery is weak but there is the possiblility that your starter is drawing to much current. Low amp charge the battery for 1/2 a day and bring it in to a parts store somewhere and have them load check it.

That clicking noise is exactly what happened to my when my battery was not fully charged and it was cold out. The terminals may have also been dirty at the time. Check your connections and battery first.

I'd second this, but to go from the charger right to the bike doesn't always have good results. Might sound a little strange, but what you tend to get is a "surface charge" where you have good power for a short time. Put it on a trickle charger for a few days, that'll let the charge "soak in" and give a good deep charge that'll last.
