I'm thinking its something thats not screwed down all the way somewhere and the viberation from the engine is making it shake but when its on the kickstand the bike is more stable and the viberations go to the ground.

i believe this is normal. usually caused by the CCT or chain-cam tensioner. it is not something to worry too much about unless you have some a lot of miles on your bike. try this. start it and let it reach temp (not nec. but always a good idea). sit on it and keep it vertical and in nuetral. the noise will be a rolling rattle-rattle pause... rattle rattle.... coming from the right hand side near you knee. (put your ear in that area and it should be loudest there). NOW, pull the clutch in and drop it in gear (you can put it on a stand, orjust pull a few feet forward andthen stop)... the noise should be much less/ not noticeable.

some people insist on replacing these right away but it isnt needed until other problems arise.
