Air Injection Control Valve?

Default Air Injection Control Valve?

anyone ever replace this or have problems with it? was curious what the symptoms are.

Don't know too much about itbut what I do know it has to do with emissions. They say it doesn't require a whole lot of maintanence. But if you have some overheating issues, or backfiring then it may be something to look at. In cars... if it doesn't pass smog, the valve is something to look at. But this is pretty much all I know.

how about the PAIR valve (just below the aic valve, directly off the valve cover)? i believe that is the system that re-burns gases, not the AIC valve.

Again I'm not 100% sure but I think both have a part to do with emissions. I thinkPAIR is the secondary air system to yes "flush out to thin out vapors before it goes into the world"... it's part of the emission system. You should inspect the PAIR valveto rule out the possibility of solving you bike's problem. My manual says to do a vacuum test but I would also check the condition of the valves also.
