does the inside of the f4 gas tank have a protective coating to protect against rust .....i made the mistake of high pressure washing the inside of my tank after painting it........just wondering cuz when i looked in it it kinda looks like the texture of a bed liner for a truck

k well i ran water throught it and let it airdry for about 2 weeks will it rust over in that time or does it take longer than that i will have gas in it next week
