Hey guys, i was wondering if it would benefit me by putting individual pod filters on and eliminating the air box, along with putting in a jet kit. I have a d&d slip on on it right now, it's a 2000 f4

 

I don't think you would get any performance gains out of it since you won't have the ram air effect pressurizing the air box when you get up to speed.Alsoit will probably sound a lot louder since you won't have the air box muffling the noise so that could be a plus if you're into that.
