Paddock Stands
I have a front and rear paddock stand and Im wondering if its ok to store the bike in the pads ( I dont have spools and dont really feel like welding /tapping anchor points). Im wondering if its ok because Im working on ways to store the bike for extended periods of time while I am out of town, has been ranging between 2 weeks - 3 months.
Thanks and I look forward to you hasty response. Oh and I got a pic of me riding the bike. Still need to do some work to it like split seat and new fairings but it looks good from a distance.
happend to leave the house same time as my wife and she snapped a photo.

+1 Hattr.
Also, you could get a Baxley sport chock. Baxley Trailer Sport Chock . I have a couple of these that I use w/ my bikes for garage, track, & trailer. They work great. You simply roll the bike's front wheel into the chock & the bike stands straight up & stable. Simply roll backward to remove the front wheel/bike from the chock.
Harbor Freight makes a knock off of the Baxley - Motorcycle Stand / Wheel Chock . I also have a couple of these. I bought them out of curiosity, wondering about their quality. I had a coupon & also bought them when on sale, cost me $39 ea. Its not quite as heavy or compact as the Baxley but it does work well & keeps the bike securely upright. The front base bar is somewhat wide but as long as nobody is going to be walking around it, it will be fine.
I wrote a lengthy comparison article about the two some time ago. I can answer any questions you may have about the two. Just let me know & I'll be glad to help.
