Alright so on my way to work today and I constantly look down at my temp gauge to see where its at. One moment I look down its working and then the next moment I look down it is not. NONE of my gauges work, no speed gauge, no temp gauge, no tach gauge. Turn signals no longer work (on the dash as well as the lights themselves), tail light running and braking does not work. The only thing electrical that works is the headlight (Low and High beam) and the bike itself. Not even th horn works.

Could it be a blown fuse? I checked the connection with what little time I had that goes into the dash and its plugged in.

Things that happened recently... I low sided my bike on Friday (Oct 10). Then the next morning I took all the fairings off since the left side was barely holding on. Thats it! Thats all thats changed. The left turn signal is gone though. Came off during the crash. Don't know if that helps. If someone could please let me know some problems that it could be causing this let me know asap. My bike is my only form of transportation.

yeah, check your fuses. it sounds like a bunch of different stuff went out at once on you there. what would bring about such an unusual happening, I have NO idea, but its possible I think.

 

Yup! It was a fuse. One fuse at that. Its hard to believe that one fuse alone is responsible for all that. Anyway problem solved. I hope this helps anyone in the future should this problem come up again.

lol, i was just gonna say it was most likely the flasher/brake fuse. headlight has its own.
