so my 99 honda 600 f4 refuses to start up. i most recently checked the wiring setup to see if maybe i had a broke wire somewhere and i didnt.the only ignition wiring that may have had a problem is the ignition pulse generator wires on both of them they had a small cut on both of the wires exposing them which was already electrical taped up from previous owner. except now it had some oil inside of the electrical tape and touching the bare wires which i think is my problem it may have shorted out the ignition pulse generator. i already check the plugs which are brand new, coilpacks are brand new. but the ignition pulse generator isnt new and god knows when it was last changed... for being a 99 model bike it has 40,000 miles on it yes thats right 40k.. it was running but then over night just refused to start up. its turning over fuel pump is priming but no spark is getting to the spark plugs to fire the bike up. any1 else has an idea for me to try???
