Default NEED HELP !!shortage and stalling

when i went to go start my f4 it over heated on me at idle with the choke on so i checked my fan and connection to my thermostat to see anything unusuall but found nothing so i checked my fuse box and foundmy fuse for the fan blown so i replaced it with another ond and so it popped that one too so i went and got a 15 amp fuse and put it in and for about 20 and then tyhe fuse for my cluster popped. so i took off my harness and took all the tape off and found no fault.

few hours prior to fuse poppin came up to a light and when light turned green i wen to go take off and then my bike just started to staulling out so i clutched it and throttled it a little more then it caught it self back up and when back to riding fine for 10 min till i got home.

i had a similar situation with my bike except it had to deal with my fan not working. My thermo switch stopped working and it wouldn't turn on the fan.

I would be at the light, and if it got too hot, it would start to bog and stall out.

make sure your fan is working. i dont know about the shorting out though.

good luck with it and let us know what happened.

Fuses blowing is caused by to much draw. That can be from a power wire going to ground or a faulty electrical component drawing to much juice. The Solution is never put a bigger fuse in, you'll just tear stuff up. The problem is likely your fan itself. when the bearings wear out the fan drags causing more draw on the system.
