REALLY weird. I plugged the speedometer back in and it runs like new again!! I have no idea what the problem was, but it seemed to go away... I just hope it wasn't too serious, because the speedometer not being hooked up still doesn't settle in my head.
I dont buy it because I unplug mine for trackdays and mine still runs.
I agree - I would be prepared for it to happen again.

someone could have screwed with the wiring, trace the wires from the cluster and make sure someone didn't jack it up.

I did all the wiring myself. So, no one played with it. I left everything alone except for the headlight harness... and I only used 2 wires (ground and power), I left the blinkers alone. So that was the only thing I really modified.

I think it's your after market head light drawing to much juice and not providing enough spark to burn all the fuel and flooding out your bike. Mine does this but only on occasion when its very humid out. Mine to is naked now. All the intake tubes have been removed. Runs very strong 99.9% percent of the time.

Mine I have just stripped down. The only thing that remains is the front fairing. Anybody know any good headlight kits that I could throw on without the need of the front fairing to hold it up?
