Please give me advise, my 2003 honda is stock and only has 5200 miles on it. It sat for over a year without starting. I got it started and have been driving it daily, it has 4 tanks of gas run through it. It has plenty of power and snap your neck throttle responce above 3000 rpm. My problem is in first gear below 3000 it bucks and kicks like it wants to stall, and I am the orignal owner and she has always ran awesome. Thank you.

 

Are you running the stock exhaust with htev? If so have you checked the htev to make its working/adjusted properly.

How is your gas mileage? A bad fuel pressure regulator could make it run rough at lower rpms.

 

If above checks out good,maybe change your gearing.Drop 1 tooth in the front and that problem will go away.

 

I have the same problem, but I don't have the air box flapper or HTEV lol
