that seems a lot more straight forward than I imagined

Clean air mod is where you remove the emissions crap off your bike and reroute the crankcase breather hose from the airbox to a breather filter. A main advantage is that you don't have hot oily vapor flowing back into your engine. Its not something you have to do, I want to do it.

Removed the Pair Valves, I will not be doing the crankcase breather mod, I've been doing a lot of research on this topic relating to the pros /cons. There is a ton of info out there, its just hard to find.

yea I was planning on droping it this winter but the weather was too nice, But Im slowly scrubbing the rust off and replacing the things that are too rusted. I spend so much on wd-40, Brillo pads and wire brushes its insane. Ill take a pic of the rear shock for you, it will make a grown man cry and further attest to the awesome reliability of a honda.

if you look at my block before I painted it black. you see it all cleaned up. I used carb cleaner to get it that pretty.... I suggest using that and you will see amazing results... I used about 4 or 5 cans to get it that puridy

spent the last few days cleaning the bike and I mean cleaning it. Hopefully next winter it will be crudy enough for me to drop the engine and give it a good scrub and the mileage should be up around 24k so maintenance should be coming up. Took some pics of the bikes state of cleanliness now. The rest of the crap you see on the bike is corrosion and I cant get it off gonna try to use some steel wool and see if that will get it off. I have a friend who does media blasting so Im gonna see if that will so it.
