So, I got some more done on the tank. at this point all I have to do is sand, polish, apply the decals and put on the clear coat. my decals wont get here for a bit and I want to put them on underneath the clear coat so Im holding off on that. But just thought you guys would like some more pics.

Oh, also I plan on doing a write up to supplement knifemaker87's thread on carbon fiber wrapping.

Looks awesome already. Does the tank have to be stripped though?

Looks like you're doing a great job on the tank. Looking forward to further updates on your progress.

You don't have to strip the tank however I wanted the base coat to be black. Also I had rust lifting the paint off the tank so I wanted to get rid of it and do everything right.

Edit: oh and still sanding my heart out. work is keeping me real busy so I'm really tired when I get home. so I should be able to knock a lot out come Thursday.

carbon fibre is supposed to be lighter and yet 3X stronger. I am wondering if any manufacture makes a bike frame entirely out of cf.

I know OPP racing make a subframe and swingarm out of CF for a Ducati.
