my clutch arm is stuck after replacing clutches
Just replaced my clutch and clutch basket and now after putting the cover back on the clutch arm is stuck in position and won't allow my clutch to move what is the trick to getting the arm to line up with the lifter the proper way in order for it to allow it to work please help do not want to snap clutch lifter for the fourth time.
when putting the clutch cover back on, stand on the throttle side of the bike facing the clutch basket. lightly put the cover back on the engine. point the clutch shaft so its at about the 8 o-clock position, then tap the cover on with your fist. the clutch shaft will move on its own as the cover slides on. when installed correctly, the clutch shaft will be pointed at about the 11 o-clock position at rest.
