well it turns out the its running me $180 for me to replace my fuel filter and fuel pump with all the hoses and clamps, some guy took the pump and filter off the bike and was running fuel directly from the petcock to the carbs, totally bypassed the pump and filter. that was the owner previous to me.

Lots of F4 parts around - buy used if you can. Just FYI the fuel pump is VERY low pressure and will only create a small pulsing effect.......
