i have 99 f4,and i have power to the coils and all the fuses but i have no spark. checked stator and magnito just a lost of words think it might be power pack

 

,problem fixed it was ecm or powerbox, or thats what a mechanic said. He was wrong and it still has no fire from coils. Has power at coils,but nothing to brake signal.Changed pick-up on right side of motor and stator,dont know if it has a safety switch or something holding it back. I know 2000 models have a tilt safety switch on them,and motor has 4 grounds to chasis.

 

hi, i have same problem with my 99 f4. were you able to get any intitial voltage to the plug wires? i have intial voltage but its not spiking when i turn the motor over. how did you conclude it was the icu? thanks

 

problem fixed, loose wire in ignition. The pink wire that goes to ecm was broken in ignition. Poured gas in and fired right up. Thanks for everybodys input in fixing my problem,charley
