how do i drain some oil in my 99 cbr 600

Default how do i drain some oil in my 99 cbr 600

i thought the bike need some oil so i put some in and now i think it has too much....how do i let some out? sorry this is my first bike just trying to learn....thanks for any help.

How much oil did you add??? Why do you think it is too much? But the Drain plug is on the underside of your bike right by your shifter. Becareful not to drain to much.

well when i have the bike upright....the marker on the side of the bike is full all the way. i know its suppossed to be between the two markers right?????

When the bike is off the side stand and is upright the oil level should be between the to marked lines. If it is over the top mark unscrew, but do not take out the oil plug. Unscrew it slow until oil starts to drip out around the plug. This way you can regulate the amount of oil that comes our easier than if you just remove the plug all the way.
