Nope.... as far as the engine goes never had a single repair due to anything wearing out. Only thing was the trans, jumping out of 3rd gear at 114k miles, had to replace 3rd and 6th gears and the shift fork, that's been about it. I don't really do anything special as far as maintenance goes, just make sure it's done right and on time every time... follow the schedule in the manual and keep all fluids clean. And of course ride with a little sense and it'll last a long loooong time

On a related note.... I was putting in some new spark plugs today to get ready for my trackday this weekend, and decided to do a quick compression test to see where she was at. And the result?? Damn near perfect..... if I remember correctly the spec is 178

That is awesome. I am always up on maintenance. I must say I should probably do my coolant it is a older bike but only 6,500 miles so idk ha. Never slack on oil thou ever.
