well, crap. my stupid self got the stock rear brake light for the 04-06 f4i and not the 01-03 f4i with the split seat. wonder if this will be an issue. i like the undertails, so i'll search for something that i like...and fits. haha

 

Yep, you'll need the '01-03 tail light. OR utilize an FE/undertail that has its own built in.

Well, the subframe came in today. And I got screwed. It is not the split seat subframe. Back to square one. Damn.

 

Sorry to hear that. Did you not have pics of the subframe b/f purchase?

 

Did you get it from eBay? If you'd and it was sold as an 01-03 subframe you will be able to get your money back...

 

Well, there was one pic. I, being uninformed, decided not to pay attention to the pic but rather the description of the item. Yes, I bought it on ebay and just opened a case with them. It was described as an 02 CBR F4i rear subframe and it clearly is not after pairing it up with my F4 subframe.

 

gotcbr - i should have paid more attention to your gallery of pics. now realizing the split seat is a black finish, that is all i will be looking for! And of course a few other differences I've noticed.

 

You should be able to get refunded as long as they argue about the pics.. But in the end, the pplcation is incorrect so that's your case.
