Default exhaust port oil leak

I layed the bike down in the back of a pick-up to take it to a shop. Next day there was oil on the inside of the bike cover and some oil leaking from the exhaust port that was nearest to the floor when layed down. Does anybody know why the **** its leaking? Is this major or no worries? Thanks

That doesn't answer my question. I didn't ask how much straps cost I'm asking why there's oil leaking out of my exhaust port. Anybody out there that can help me?

pics? how much oil? and get yourself some straps! It could be b/c you layed it on it's side (not advised) and it could not be a problem if you let it sit and drain back down. However, you need to check your oil level, let it sit, and then decide for yourself whether or not to start it.

Nothing is wrong with your engine. Let it sit right side up overnight, check the oil and fire her up. It will smoke for a while. After it stops smoking change the oil and spark plugs, and check for oil in the air box and carbs. Never lay your bike on the side again. Engines are only designed to keep oil from running out of the bottom not the sides and top.
