Wow, Is that the fastest Honda ever made?

I assumed it was like a repsol and just a different paint colour an that was it?

Power:118.00 HP (86.1 kW))Top speed:290.0 km/h (180.2 mph)0-100 km/h (0-62 mph):2.300 seconds

Its faster 0-60 then any bike I can find?
Makes 20HP more then the F4?
Weighs 65lbs more then the F4i?
And has a higher top speed then any 1000RR?

I'm not sure how correct those stats are.

This is a good link to compare bikes as well (Although this bike isn't on it)

Sorry about digging up an old post, but i am very curious since i thought the f4 and ultima light f4 were the same, but according to these 2 websites they are quite different.

2000 Honda CBR 600 F Ultima Light specifications and pictures
Honda CBR 600F4

the most interesting was the compression ratio. the f4 is 12:1 and the ultima light is 13:1. Among other things the ultima light is 8hp faster, has a 30km higher top speed, is 30kg heavier (huh?), slightly bigger front discs.

The F is part of a scale that measures the wind speed of tornados so it starts F1 F2 F3 etc. Honda started using the F after it stopped making the cbr hurricane.
The old F4 still had carbs and the F4i has injectors.

The cbr ultima light was named that because it was the first model Honda made using an alloy frame making the bike lighter than the previous steel. frames, well at least that's what I got told.
