Default How Does a centerstand look on an F4? Vid inside...

I am still wishing the F4 had a centerstand.. like the Eurospec ones do.. my last bike had one and it was awesome for lubing the chain and general use... I just found this vid and you can see the centerstand being used... I have read that it would often hit aftermarket exhausts.. this one isnt stock..

I should really keep my mouth shut on this, but the little red dude on my shoulder is telling me otherwise......

Ill try to keep in mind that not everyone is performance minded

Center stands are not light weight typically, my buddy had one on his 250 ninja, removed it, it was dead weight

99-00 f4 was the 600rr of its day, i would consider a 600rr with a centerstand to be good reason for *** chewing to its owner

for the same price or cheaper you could buy a bike stand to oil your chain, or what I do, povot onto the kickstand and front wheel and put a wood 4x4 piece onder the swing arm

Turbulenz my apologies if that was rude, I just think the idea of a centerstand is gay + I just dont like them to begin with... But Im only 25, and I know older people like things that I dont understand, like almost the whole line of bmw bikes which i hate, with maybe the exception of a bike or two, I know they are probably awesome bikes, its a great company, but once they made a bike with two front fenders I lost all hope, it probably has two center stands too... jk

Sorry I know I should have just left this one alone, remember it is just my opinion, it does not mean I am right, I think I did gag a little at the sight of it tho...

ROFL! No sweat dude... I appreciate your opinion... I don't like the weight of the stand.. but its just so damn practical sometimes... I need to buy front and rear stands.. or at least a rear stand...

no worries here...

I have read some less than great things about the Harbor stuff... I'm thinkin a Trex stand for $65 is a bargain enough...

How is teh F4/F4i coming?

my stand is actually my buddies old stand, it's been around for about 2 years. not much that can go wrong on them in reality.

The f4 is good, runs great, even stands it up in 3rd with stock gearing... just needing some paint and it'll be good.
