Rearsets vs Riserplates
Hey all.
I want to change the foot peg position on my F4 to make it a little less like a lounge chair and more like a sportsbike.
Aftermarket rearsets look great and would be a first preference but i am looking at a more budget option such as riser plates.

Has anyone used them? Opinions?
Also can you purchase clip ons that sit lower than oem ones. I don't want to make it a back breaking ride but a little lower would be nice.

I just removed the feelers on the stock pegs so I dont drag them, but I mainly ride with my toes on the pegs, except for shifting and breaking, this changes your riding position without spending money, the clip ons I have are definatly lower than stock, about as low as you can go. do those relocators come with a new shift linkage?

after taking a second look, I do like the new location of them, but I wouldnt pay more than $30, I have a shop and all the tools, I could make my own set, which is probably what I will do, unless someone knows where to get these cheaper than $100
I have a set of rearset adapter plates from some company that's out of business...it only has 2 positions to work with, but they were the best $50 I spent on bike, much better riding position, and my riding progressed after picking them up, it was a lot easier to lock the outside knee on the tank. Get em u wont regret it.
