First ride of the year today, after the bike was parked up around Christmas with stabiliser in the tank and the battery indoors to keep topped up with charge.

I noticed when I got home, that with the engine off, the main beam indicator comes on the dash with the lights, regardless of whether the main beam switch is on or off.
Bit of a puzzler! Has anyone had this happen before? Any ideas appreciated!

 

I would start with the light switch, a quick spritz with some contact cleaner may help? It might be just connecting enough to put the indicator light on but not fire up the main beam.
Could of course be nothing of the kind....

 

It hasn't happened since, may have been the torrential rain!
