I'd have to agree with ya on it runnin rich You shouldn't be seeing any smoke from your bikes exhaust![sm=smiley21.gif]have you had the carbs off for a cleanning I don't rememmber if you said so but if you did or for any reason had the carbs off the bike def should have them syncd make sure the pilot screws are properly adjusted . if they are not setproperly then you would definatly run rich or lean depending on how many turns out they are.good luck though.

I personally did not take the carbs off of this bike. I was reffered by a buddy of mine to a guy who is supposed to be one heck of a bike mechanic. My buddy lets him do all the work on his bike, and he actually runs a lot of races up at VIR and other courses. I am assuming he sync'd everything up, but I have no clue to be honest.

I saw the walk through on cleaning carbs, is there another walkthrough on how to sync them up? If its included in that article then cool. Ill print it out at work and possibly get my hands dirty this weekend .
