Today i noticed sometime taking off the engine will stumble for a second and then be fine. Up in the rpm's/crusing it runs perfect. Also if i just rev it in netural is will stumble sometimes untill the rpm's increase. Any ideas? 12k miles, no maintence done thus far besides of course oil changed. New plugs already on the way.

 

my 99 f4 does this occasionally to, doesnt really bother much though cuz it only happens once in a great while..

 

Might wanna check your idle speed is set correctly mate, there's a little black knurled *** down on the right hand side of the bike, just below the front of the seat, you don't have to remove theseat to see it.

 

Yup its right at 1400

 

Might be an idea to clean the carbs along with changing your plugs then and see if that helps.
If you live in America I hear a lot of people speak quite highly of some stuff called sea foam for cleaning out carbs. and if you're doing the carbs and plugs then you might as well clean out the air filter too, just the general maintenance stuff to help it run a little better and see if it helps really.

Drove it an hr to work today w/o a hitch, maybe it just needed a good redline pull on the highway :]
