Default cluster

alright so i finally got my bike up and running and running well. only problem now is the cluster seems to be dead and i have no idea y??
i did do some minor electrical mods (hid headlight, integrated taillight and heated grips) but i have taken everything out and tried the cluster and i still have nothing. all warning lights work (signals oil light that sort of thing) but no speedo no tach or temp gauge i checked all the connectors up front to see if there maybe a broken wire or a pin out and could not find anything wrong. i have the oem service manual and the wiring diagrams are terrible and hard to follow. im thinking maybe a relay or something and yes i did check the fuses under the seat none blown

any and all help is appreciated thanks cbr gods

i had this happen and i kept blowing a fuse that runs the blinkers and gauges but i still had a head light. Then i realized when i took off my blinker sin the rear i just ired the wire together and it ran into my integrated tail. The old blinkers i wired together were sending a current back up to the line and blowing at the fuse.

idk if this helps just what happened to me. good luck

Same thing happened to me about 3 weeks ago. I found out it was my tag light that was blowing the fuse. If you have a split seat remove the passenger seat and find the white connector the works the tag light and remove it. If worked for me until I was able to get a new rear tail light (which i had already planned on ordering). Hope this helps.

403F4 - the tailight does need to be grounded, some LED lights will function without a ground, but with out the ground it can back feed and cause multiple electrical issues, connect the ground and see what happens
